What Happens On Your Three Visit Rat Pest Control Treatment?

1st Visit - We offer a same day service or as per your availability.

A full inspection of your premises will be undertaken to ascertain the intensity of the infestation of rats and to locate the origin of the rat problem.

This will include accessing all rooms of the premises, any loft or void access areas and the exterior of the property.

Our pest controller will be able to advise you on how bad your rat infestation is and how they are accessing your premises.

Treatment will also begin on this visit, we carry out various types of treatments for rats and the pest controller will decide how best to eradicate your rat issue.

Proofing recommendations will be provided to you, we will advise you exactly how to prevent rat accessing your property.

We can also provide you with a quote to carry out any essential rat proofing works for you. (It may be beneficial to carry out some emergency proofing works straight away)

2nd Visit - 7 - 10 days from your first visit.

As per the initial visit we carry out another inspection, including checking our treatment, we will be able to ascertain the level of control and advise if we are seeing activity, if our treatment requires changing in some way or simply that we need to top up our treatment or reset traps and attractants.

We will leave a report and reattend approximately 7 days later.

3rd Visit - 7 - 10 days from your 2nd visit.

As per the initial visit we carry out another inspection, including checking our treatment, we will be able to ascertain the level of control and be able to determine if we have eradicated your rat issue or if you require further visits.

If your rat issue has been resolved we will remove any accessible dead rodents and any treatment we have placed in your premises will also be removed.

Additional Visits & Proofing

Additional visits are sometimes required due to high infestation and are undertaken approx. 7 - 10 days after the third visit.

Proofing For Rats is normally undertaken at the end of the treatment as quite often if you block up holes, rats will create new routes through your property as there is every chance you are trapping them inside your property.

All is not lost however there are some immediate bits of proofing the pest controller may decide to recommend should it be beneficial to the eradication of your rat issue.
